It is interesting to note that our week of “no opinions” coincides with our Scroll 2 of Og Mandino. We greet this day with love in our hearts. We welcome obstacles for they are our challenge. When we are tempted to criticize we bite our tongues.
When opinions or criticism are our obstacles, how do we take corrective action?
For myself, I have used the Law of Substitution. The law of substitution is we cannot think about 2 things at the same time. If an opinion or criticism creeps into my mind, first I have to be aware of my thought, the second I must turn from it and think about something else instead. This may sound easy for some people but from my experience, I can say it takes real work for me to turn from something in my thoughts.
I am so grateful to have had the Master Key Experience come into my life when I was experiencing great loss. I have learned to control my thoughts and gain from the experience that it is possible to turn from opinions. When I get into an opinion or criticism, I change it around and think of the good in what it is that I have an opinion about. This is one of the many things that I have learned in creating a better emotional state of mind.
I greet this day with love in my heart. And how will I do this? I look at all things with love and I am born again. Using the Law of Substitution has changed my life for the better each day as I practice love for all, the sun, the rain, the light, and the darkness. I welcome obstacles for they are my challenge.
Love & Harmony, Joan
