MKE Week 17 Increase My Knowledge Of Myself

We have been reading in Og Mandino in chapter 4 “I increase my knowledge of mankind, myself, and the goods I sell, thus my sales multiply.  I practice and improve, and polish the words I utter to sell my goods, for this is the foundation on which I build my career and, never I forget that many have attained great wealth and success with only one sales talk, delivered with excellence.  I seek constantly to improve my manners and graces for they are the sugar to which all are attracted.”

From this statement, I have extracted what is needed to become better than I have been previously.

First, I increase my knowledge of myself and others.  By changing my thought patterns and eliminating limiting beliefs.  Negative thought patterns defeat my purpose to grow. I  must become a better manager of myself, capture the thoughts that limit me.

“I don’t know what to do” is one such thought that is limiting me.  “I do know better than anyone else what to do because I know the situation better than anyone else.”  This has become a daily awareness for me because it is a limiting belief.

Do you have any such beliefs that limit you?  Would you be able to identify it and declare it void by stating it positively?  Comment below.

Then I constantly seek to improve my manners and graces.  People buy from people with a positive mindset that shows good manners and treats them well.  In sales, most people buy, without being sold, because they know, trust and believe in you.

  1. Your post is very interesting, it is so true. We are the only one that really know best how to alter our own thinking. I can mention that I have been better at understand the fact that I am loved, even if I always have thought that I never was, because I looked for love from the wrong place. Namely my family, but God loves me, none the less.

    1. Yes, John, you are loved and in many ways. Our source is all powerful and has a deep love for each of us. What would it be like to have so much love poured over us everyday? Can you picture that all knowing love?
