For the last two weeks we had an assignment with our Master Key course. The assignment was to think on these very emotional feelings of Fear, Anger, Unworthiness, Guilt, and Hurt Feelings and find a way to use them as tools to expand our comfort zone.
My first thought was that it would be difficult to imagine or hard to process. But as I continued each day to spend time with these feelings, I began to get a concept of what anger would feel like and look like. A very strong feeling for me, as I shared in blog post last week.
The other feelings: fear, unworthiness, guilt and hurt feelings, I had not quite understood how to make them expand my comfort zone. This weeks webinar explained in detail how to make them comfort zone friendly. And I had an “AH HA” moment.
“No need to overcome these feelings. Instead attach a different thought and use them as tools”.
Use FEAR as Energy, Concentration, Focus. If we do the thing we fear, fear disappears.
Use Anger as Massive Energy to change, (the best revenge is living well) a power tool.
Use Unworthiness, as a way to keep on track with your goals. Be an observer.
Use Guilt, to validate good, and to know what is the right thing. Good people feel bad, bad people feel good.
Hurt Feelings remind us how much we care and focus on what we want..
It is magic the way questions turn obstacles into benefits. We must be willing to let go and embrace these new tools. Ask the tough questions of yourself. This exercise may take you out of your comfort zone, the same as it has for me. Making the changes will be worth the effort and you are worth whatever it takes to become your own “best self”.
